Panchmukh Barasat Trinamool MLA and actor Chiranjit Chakraborty praised BJP leader and actor Mithun Chakraborty. His recently released film Prajapati is the reason for the appreciation. Since the release of the film, actor Mithun Chakraborty’s acting style has won the hearts of the audience across the political spectrum. On Monday, his contemporary actor Chiranjit Chakraborty said, “Mithoon deserves to get the National Award again.”
On Monday, MLA Chiranjit Chakraborty attended the press conference of ‘Didi’s Protection Shield’ programme. There he commented, Mithun is a three-time National Award-winning actor. There is no question about his artistry. He is eligible to receive the National Award again.
Mithun already won the WBFJA Award for ‘Prajapati’. In this context, Chiranjith told reporters, “It is very good for any artist to get an award. The debate is a different matter. This has nothing to do with showing pictures in Nandan. The application process for the show had some errors or was given later. That is why it was not accepted. Mithun is my best friend since childhood. I spent the night at his house. I was there recently, Ooty took me. He is just fantastic! If you ask him, you will know that I am the only person who once had trouble in a place, then said that Mithun is the only actor who has won three national awards. There is no reason to deny him.
